Automated email templates

You can customize and manage your automated email templates for various marketing automations such as birthday emails and anniversary wishes.

❗️Note: Automated email templates will only be sent if email automations are enabled in your Practice Settings.

Accessing Automated Email Templates

To access the Automated Email Templates feature, follow these steps:

  1. From the Main Dashboard: Upon logging into your account, you will be presented with the main dashboard.
  2. Click on "Manage Bulk Email": Locate and click on the "Manage Bulk Email" tile in the dashboard.
  3. Navigate to "Marketing Automation": Within the "Manage Bulk Email" section, look for the tile labeled "Edit Automations". Click on this option to proceed.



  4. Choose Template: Once you're in the "Marketing Automation" section, you will find access to the Automated Email Templates. Here, you can choose the specific template you wish to edit or customize.
  5. Edit Template: Select the template you want to work with and proceed to customize it according to your preferences using the provided editing tools and placeholder substitutions.

Placeholder Substitutions

When editing your email templates, you can utilize placeholder substitutions to personalize your messages. Here are the available substitutions and their corresponding replacement values:

!greet!: This will be replaced with the appropriate greeting or salutation based on the client's profile settings. It will start with a capital letter.

!nick!: The client's preferred name or nickname will be inserted here.

!fname!: The client's full name, as per their identification, will be placed in this field.

!lname!: The client's surname will be substituted here.

!title!: The client's title, such as 'Mrs' or 'Dr', will be added in this section.

!practice_name!: This will be replaced with the name of your practice. If not set, it will default to 'Your Financial Adviser'.

Sending a test email

You can test your automated emails by clicking "Send Test Email" next to the template selector dropdown. This will send a test email to your registered email.

Automation History (Automation Log)

The Automation Log stores a history of all automated communications sent on your behalf by the CRM. It makes it easy to see what automated communications have been sent, and who has received them. To view the automation history, open the Bulk Email Manager and click on the View Automation Log tile.

You can search for clients or template names in the search bar (top right of the list), or filter by clicking on any column headings in the table. To view the automation in the client's interaction log, simply click the Open button in the right-most column.

Enabling Templates

Once you've customized the templates to your satisfaction, ensure they are enabled in the settings to activate automated sending. You can enable email automations in your Practice Settings.
