Quick Notes (Dashboard Feature)

Welcome to Quick Notes, a handy feature in ClientManager designed to help financial advisers, assistants, and team members quickly jot down important information without the need to navigate through client profiles. With Quick Notes, you can log client reviews, call notes, or general notes effortlessly.

Getting Started

When you log into ClientManager, you'll find the Quick Notes section right on your dashboard.

Creating a Quick Note

  1. Start Typing: To create a new Quick Note, simply start typing in the text box provided.

  2. Linking a Client: To associate a client with your note, use the @mention syntax by typing "@" followed by the client's name. A dynamic search will appear, allowing you to choose the right client from the dropdown list.

  3. Tagging the Note: You can use hashtags to categorize your note:

    • #call: Use this hashtag to indicate that the note is related to a client call.
    • #review: If you want to mark a client as reviewed for the current cycle, use this hashtag.
    • If no hashtag is present, the note will be logged as a standard note.
  4. Posting to Multiple Clients: If your note pertains to more than one client, you can link up to five clients using @mentions. The note will be posted to all their profiles.

Example Usage

Let's say you want to log a call note for a client named John Smith:

  • Type your note, like "Discussed investment options with @John Smith #call."
  • The note will be linked to John Smith and tagged as a call note.
